ABOUT

Memphis Jets Track Club (MJTC) was established in 2013 by Ken Hall, a former track athlete and  enthusiast. Remembering the role summer track played in my life, I decided to start my own. With the right fundamental, track can be fun for runners of all level.

The Memphis Jets are an AAU affiliated youth track club, that competes all across the United States. We compete in AAu sanctioned events. Ages 8-18 are invited to come join the the Memphis Jets Family.

 

Memphis Jets started with 6 members, in which all 6 where national qualifiers.

We competed in the AAU District Qualifier in Nashville, TN and went on to compete in the National Qualifier meet in Knoxville, TN and the 2013 Junior Olympic in Ypsilanti, MI, where competed in the midget boys 4x100 meter relay, sub-youth triple jump, and sub-midget and midget 100 meter dash.

 

2014 Junior Olympics in Des Moines, IA, Omarion Blaylock 12 yrs old became the Memphis Jets first All-American in 200 meters. The Jets had 6 compete in the games with 5 competing in 2 or more events.

 

2015 Memphis Jets qualified 19 members to compete the AAU National qualifier in Knoxville, TN. 13 of the 19 members qualify in two or more events for the 2015 Junior Olympic held in Norfolk, VA. Omarion Blaylock became a 2x AAU All- Ammerican in the 200 meter dash.

The Memphis Jets have reached 19 members, with each runner showing vast improve as the year went on.
